Depression after childbirth

According to the CDC, over 600,000 women suffer from depression after childbirth each year. This statistic recently became of interest to me as I am reading a book by Brooke Shields entitled Down Came the Rain. It is a tear-jerking yet eye-opening account of her journey through postpartum depression. If you recently had a baby and are experiencing sadness, anxiety, decreased energy, irritability, feelings of loss of control, and changes in eating and sleeping patterns and are not getting help, please inbox me as I would be honored to get you some. If you have overcome postpartum depression, please post and let us know how you did it. If you are pregnant or have recently given birth, know that physical therapy can help with incontinence, back pain and pelvic pain-all of which, if left untreated, can result in depression. Please read the article below for more details.
